Whether you are having trouble managing your blood sugar levels or would like to know your options to quit smoking, our Pharmacist is dedicated to ensuring your needs are met. Walk-in or arrange for a one-on-one consultation with our Pharmacist.

As of January 1, 2023, pharmacists at Atlas Pharmacy are authorized to prescribe medications for certain minor ailments. All you need is your health card. Only the following conditions fall under the Minor Ailment Treatments: – Allergic rhinitis (nasal allergies) – Candidal stomatitis (oral thrush) – Conjunctivitis (pinkeye) – Dermatitis (atopic, eczema, allergic and contact) – Dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) – Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) – Hemorrhoids – Herpes labialis (cold sores) – Impetigo (skin infection) – Insect bites and urticaria (hives) – Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease – Musculoskeletal sprains and strains – Urinary tract infections (UTI) – Mild to moderate acne – Canker sores – Diaper dermatitis – Yeast infections – Pinworms and threadworms – Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. The Minor Ailment service is available to all Ontario residents with a valid Ontario Health card at no charge.

READY FOR A FLU SHOT?
Starting in early October, flu shots will be available for the most vulnerable and high priority populations, including hospitalized individuals, hospital staff, and residents and staff in long-term care homes, followed by those in retirement homes and other congregate settings and individuals 65 years and older. Free flu shots for the general public aged six months and older will be available starting late October, at doctor and nurse practitioner offices, participating pharmacies and some public health units.
